MATH: Data Management: introduction to looking at, representing and analyzing data - Bowling Project
WRITING: paragraph writing, structure, co-constructed success criteria and peer feedback over the next few weeks (descriptive paragraph, summary paragraph)
SCIENCE: Inquiry project into Endangered Animals in Canada (coding map)
- demonstrate an understanding of habitats and an understanding of how structural adaptations allow animals to survive in specific habitats
- assess the importance of preserving wildlife to sustain the environment (e.g., humans, plants and animals) and the implications of different hazards that threaten environmental sustainability.
HEALTH: Time to begin our research via TDSB Virtual Library, next week in response to the "Big Idea" and student generated inquiry questions; students will be provided a copy of their online work to write a short magazine article (Google Classroom).
